Founder, President
Hello! My name is Prisha, and I'm very passionate about environmental justice. I've been interested in STEM since childhood, as I've participated in several regional, state, national, and international level science fairs, particularly in topics relating to plant and environmental sciences. However, I'm also very passionate about advocacy.
Living in Dallas, Texas, a city whose infrastructure is very car-dependent and often hostile towards minorities and the socioeconomically disadvantaged, I've observed many societal inequities.
As an active speech and debate competitor, I learn and speak about societal issues---particularly those uniquely affecting minority communities---and the pursuit of social equity is something I value deeply. So, I started EmpowerEarth as a way to use science and advocacy to advance environmental justice.
